What you actually get

Every task, every week. No mystery.

Most agencies sell you a word, "management", and then email you a report about it. This page is every task, in the order it happens, with the output you actually receive and the things we refuse to do. Nothing on it is vague. If you find something that is, tell me and I will rewrite it.

Your first 30 days

Day 1 · about a minute of your time

You approve access

You click one Google consent screen so we can post and reply on your profile. That's the only setup step, and you can revoke it any time from your own Google account. Nothing else is asked of you.

Days 1–3

The full profile overhaul

Categories corrected (the single biggest lever on which searches you appear in), services published with descriptions, business description rewritten, hours verified, service area set, attributes filled in, photo gallery audited. This is the $399 setup, included in month one on the $249 tier.

Days 3–7

Every unanswered review gets answered

Not just new ones. We work backwards through your existing reviews, including the old negative one you've been avoiding, and write a real reply to each. This is usually the single most visible change, because most profiles have years of silence on them.

Week 2 onward, every week

A post goes up, and replies go out within a day

One Google post per week with the right call-to-action button. Every new review answered within 24 hours. Holiday hours set before the holiday, not after it.

Day 30, and every month after

A change note you can actually read

One page: what we changed, what came in, what we'd do next. No dashboard you have to learn, no 47-page PDF. If your profile needed nothing that month, it says that.

What a review reply actually looks like

Half your customers say a templated reply puts them off. So the template is not neutral, it is worse than staying silent. Here is the same review, answered both ways. Both are illustrations rather than a client's, because we do not put words in other businesses' mouths.

The template everyone sends

"Thank you for your feedback! We're sorry to hear about your experience. Please contact us so we can make it right. We value all our customers!"

What we write

"You waited 40 minutes past your appointment time and nobody told you why, that's on us. We had an emergency extraction run long and we should have called you. I've changed how we handle that: front desk now calls anyone waiting more than 15 minutes. If you'd like to come back, ask for me directly and I'll make sure it doesn't happen twice., Dr. Reyes"

The second one is specific, admits the actual thing, names a change, and is signed by a person. It takes ten minutes to write instead of ten seconds. That difference is the entire job, and it is the reason the first one costs you customers.

What we will not do

  • We will not write or buy fake reviews. It violates Google's terms, it gets profiles suspended, and it's the single fastest way to lose everything you've built.
  • We will not guarantee a ranking. Nobody can. Anyone who does is either lying or about to get your listing penalized.
  • We will not stuff keywords into your business name. It's a suspension trigger, and we sell the rescue for that, we'd rather you never need it.
  • We will not lock you into a contract. Cancel in one email, any month.
  • We will not send a reply in your voice without your rules. You tell us what you'd never say, and we don't say it.
  • We will not pretend a quiet month was busy. If nothing needed doing, the note says so.

Straight answers

Can I do this myself?
Technically, yes. Every tool we use is free and sitting inside your Google Business Profile right now. So rather than talk you out of it, here is precisely what doing it properly involves, and you can decide honestly.

Categories. Google has several thousand of them, and your primary category alone decides which searches you are even eligible to appear in. Choosing it is not a guess, it means checking which categories the businesses currently outranking you use, then working out which service types each category unlocks, because services you cannot list are services Google cannot match you to.

Review replies. Within 24 hours, because 74% of people specifically look for reviews from the last three months and a stale thread reads as a closed business. Written individually, because 50% of customers say they are put off by generic replies, a templated apology is worse than silence. And each one has to do four things at once: acknowledge the actual specific complaint, avoid sounding defensive, name a concrete change you have made, and read like a person rather than a policy. The negative ones are the ones prospects read most closely, and they are the hardest to write on the day you receive them, when you are annoyed.

Posts. One a week, every week. They expire after seven days, so a gap is visible. Each needs the correct call-to-action type for what you actually want, book, call, order, learn more, and they are the single most abandoned feature on the platform.

Everything else. Holiday hours set before the holiday, not after the angry review about it. Services published with descriptions. Attributes kept accurate. Photos refreshed. Service area correct. Any one of these left wrong quietly costs you calls, and none of them announce themselves when they break.

Realistically that is three to five hours in month one, then two to three hours every single month, forever. Not difficult hours. Just hours that have to actually happen, in the week someone calls in sick, the schedule is full, and a review lands on a Friday night.

Which is the real answer to your question. The businesses that lose at this are almost never the ones who could not do it. They are the ones who did it brilliantly for three weeks in January, then stopped. You are not paying us for access to something you cannot reach. You are paying so that it happens in week thirty as reliably as it happened in week one.

What makes you different from the agency that keeps cold-calling me?
They are selling you a retainer. We are selling you the work, and you can check all three of these before you pay us anything.

We have read 1,251 independently owned business homepages, one at a time, and counted what we found. 26 metros. Every number counted by us, not bought from anyone, the whole report is published here. Ask the agency cold-calling you for their data. You will get a case study about somebody in another state, or nothing at all, because they have never counted anything. They are guessing, confidently, at your expense.

Every reply is written individually. No templates, ever, that is the rule, and you can hold us to it from the first month. Half of your customers say a canned apology puts them off, which means the agency charging you $500 a month to paste "We value your feedback!" under a one-star review is actively costing you business. You are paying them to make it worse.

Our process comes out of the research, not somebody's opinion. The Berkeley and Harvard work on how half a star moves revenue for independent businesses. The current consumer surveys on what actually makes somebody pick you off a map. That is why replies go out inside 24 hours instead of whenever a junior gets to the queue, and why they are structured the way they are. Ask them why they write replies the way they do. Listen to the answer.

How do you decide what to write?
Reviews are triaged first: a detailed negative review from a real customer is answered before a one-word five-star, because it is the one prospects will read. Every reply follows the same discipline, name the specific thing, do not get defensive, state what changed, sign it as a person. Posts are planned around what your business actually has coming up rather than filler, and use the call-to-action that matches the action you want. You set the boundaries: tell us what you would never say, and we will not say it.
Do you know anything about my industry?
We have researched 1,251 independently owned businesses across 26 metros, homepage by homepage, dentists, vets, law firms, accountants, salons, auto shops, and catalogued exactly what separates the profiles that fill the map pack from the ones nobody clicks. We know what your category looks like when it is done right, and we know the specific things almost everyone in it gets wrong, because we counted.

You know how to run your practice. We know the ninety seconds before someone becomes your patient, the part you never see, where they compare you to three competitors and pick one.

How much of my time does this take?
One minute on day one to approve access. After that, nothing, unless you want to weigh in on a specific reply. That is the entire point.
How fast will I see something?
Your profile changes visibly in the first week, the overhaul and the review backlog are both done by day seven. How fast that turns into phone calls depends on your market, your competitors and how many reviews you have. We cannot tell you a number, and we will not pretend to.
What if I don't like a reply you wrote?
Tell us and we will change it, replies can be edited after publishing. Tell us the rule behind it and we will not make the same call twice.
What happens if I cancel?
Everything we published stays, the profile is yours, not ours. We simply stop adding to it. No offboarding fee, nothing held hostage.
Who actually does the work?
Jeremiah, in Raleigh, with software built to handle the repetitive parts so the writing gets the attention. Not an offshore team, not a rotating account manager, not a different person every quarter.
